I got swelling both side of throat also taking medicine but it is 3rd day of same but still i have swelling and pain in both side of throats how long it take to cure

are anitbioics started ? pain may take a week to subside in tonsillitis if swelling is present on cheeks , mgso4 dressing may need to be applied
