Swelling in baby feet

My baby is 10 months old and object fell on her feet. It's been a week and swelling is still there. Baby is not showing any pain. Baby is crawling, pulling up to stand, crusing. How long will swelling be there? Should an x-ray be taken?

Swelling might indicate soft tissue injury or a fracture. Kids usually can't complain of pain directly .get checked and get xray of foot.

Swelling usually lasts for 1-2 weeks. If not painful no need for xray. Ice application will do.
