If it’s causing problems it is better to remove. Or if you are planning for teeth alignment too. Those teeth can also be a place where cysts - water sac like things that may develop in jaw bones when they are inside. Or could be causing damage to nearby teeth etc
All this said , you could just ask your doctor “what could happen if I don’t remove it. I have lived with it 26 years. “If the answer satisfies you to get it removed, please go ahead. This is the key step to informed consent from your side.

Bleeding, pain, swelling over face lips and may extend up to under eyes too depending and possibly more minor issues, which are temporary and will go away in few days. Other specific things I cannot comment without knowing further.
