Sugar levels

In my yearly check up,it is observed that my fasting sugar is 107 and post prandial as 148 and hba1c as 5.4. Do I need to take any medication. Daily I do 45 minutes walking and taking telma 40 for BP and atorvastatin 10 MG at night, my total cholesterol is 118 and HDL is 40 and LDL is 65 and triglycerides is 70. My age is 45 and my height is 183 cm and weight is 84 kg. I am taking white rice on regular basis.i do not smoke and don't take alcohol.please suggest.

Hi., I can understand your concern. Your sugar levels are normal, Just plan for proper diet. Avoid processed foods. Eat more proteins and less rice

Currently fbs is 107.. normal should be less than 100. No medicine required right now as rest reports are good Need to follow diet and exercise strictly since currently its normal..
