Fasting sugar is 144 and post prandial is 216 and HBA1C is 6.6% Taking glycomet sr and istamet xr medication is insulin required for this ? Please suggest

Hello. An Hba1c of 6.6 means average blood glucose around 150. So reason for increased blood glucose values could be 1. You haven't followed dietary precautions 2. Not exercising in recent time 3. Omitting medication when you check for FBS PPBS
