Suffering with Oral Lichen planus
I am suffering with Oral Lichen planus in mouth(from around 2.5 Years) and light marks on penis(It resolved with in 2Months) and i consulted 2 Skin doctors(one of famous Dermatologists in Bangalore) and they given the treatment with following medicines.
1st time - Suggested Ointments - Tess paste( triamcinolone acetonide) for oral and mouth wash 2-3 times with Betnesol(bethamethasone 0.5mg) tablet
2nd time - Kenacort ( triamcinolone acetonide content)
3rd time – Medrol 16MG Tablets( Methylprednisolone) – Seem s somewhat pain resolved, but no perm cure.
But from last 20 days i am feeling irritation when eating light spicy also and also little bit discomfortness feeling.
I am scare of mouth Cancer, where I can go for better treatment.

Lichen planus is a chronic condition that takes time to resolve. The medication given to you seems appropriate. Please follow your doctor's advice.
Since lichen planus is an immune reaction, there is no permanent cure. The condition can increase and decrease over time. But with medication, it can be under control.
Only a small percentage of lichen planus turn into cancer. If you have red areas or ulcers in the mouth, Pl meet an oral medicine specialist.
