Sudden tightening of chest

I have allergy and gastric issue. I get chest tightening and am confused if it is due to gerd or asthma. How to find difference between chest tightening due to asthma and gerd?

I get wired feeling in chest, in the middle, covering a bit throat also. I also have gas issue. My echo tmt ecg, blood testa are normal. Total cholesterol is 154.
