Ma’am the most common cause of nasal bleeding, is opening of blood vessel at the littles area ie the anterio-inferior part of nasal septum. It may be due to any injury like frequent nose picking or any infection/ inflammation like rhinitis in cold. He is a young man, so it’s unlikely due to high BP, the BP may have raised a bit after the bleeding because of becoming anxious. The cold may have caused inflammation of the little’s area in the nose leading to bleeding. You need to consult ENT doctor and also get some tests done.
