Hello My styloid process scan is done.. right is 4.4 cm ..and left 4 cm ..Is there  any other treatment options besides surgery ...plz ans

Hi, I am Dr. Atul Kumar Nimawat MS ENT. Your styloid process length being 4.4 cm on the right and 4 cm on the left suggests it is elongated. Normally, the styloid process is about 2.5–3 cm, so yours are enlarged, which can be associated with Eagle Syndrome.

Non-surgical treatment 1 Pain Management 2 Steroid or Anesthetic Injections 3 Physical Therapy 4 Diet and Lifestyle Modifications 5 Acupuncture. Relaxation techniques or mindfulness therapy.
