Stress and anxiety

I have been having chest tightness for long time. Was diagnosed asthmatic long back. However for the last one year the tightness has spread to throat ,face shoulder ,abdomen etc. It is very constant. I also have GERD but medication for GERD did not help with the tightness issue. Could this be related to anxiety and stress
