Strabismus surgery is done under local anaesthesia .so it won't be painful. High myopia has little risk as your e Sclera means covering of eye is thin but surgery will be planned accordingly to prevent those complications.. . Double vision will be there for sometime after surgery.and it's a good sign of surgery.and it will be only for sometime. You will be advised some exercises after surgery for early recovery.

You will not feel pain once the eye is anaesthetised. Regarding possibility of double vision, your operating surgeon will guide you properly.

They'll give local anaesthesia,  you won't feel any pain. It shouldn't cause double vision.
