Stone in gallbladder

Hello, my husband is suffering from stone in gallbladder size 4-8mm. Stone type is cholesterolic. Pls suggest

If stones are symptomatic, gall bladder has to be removed. If no SYMPTOMS or signs of complications then Wait and watch can be an option. But then decision of surgery or no surgery has to be made by the patient himself. Pros and cons are equal on both sides.
Next Steps
avoid oily foods including milk derivatives have to be avoided at all to avoid precipitation of complications. (except curd may be taken).
