I am suffering from stomach ulcers (IBD disease). My symptoms are feel nauseous, constipation, occasional dizziness, stomach gas, feeling of weakness and blood in stool. In my stool foud OVA bacteria present. My doctor give advice me to bring sigmoidoscopy test but I don't want to do this test. So my doctor give advice to me take pre probiotic capsule for stomach ulcers after taking pre probiotic capsule, now I am little well. I request you please can you suggest me any other medicine with pre probiotic capsule.

Blood in stool could be of 2 types. Fresh blood red in color indicates bleeding from anus may be due to piles or fissure. Bleeding from colon results in black tarry stool ,not fresh blood. In case fresh blood in stool proctoscopy will help to come to diagnosis. If you are passing black tarry stool you need to get sigmoidoscopy done. Proctoscopy is a simple procedure. Sigmoidoscopy is a bit lengthy procedure.

Please get colonoscopy done and  biopsy of  the area involved; u need to have proper treatement; health shud be ur priority at this moment.

IBD needs detailed evaluation...colonoscopy help to find out how many ulcers are there. ..in what stage they r...and confirm it diagnosis with biopsy. .. Better go for it..after staging u will get a better treatment
