It's an extraocular surgery, so usually not very complicated. You will be able to resume most of your routine activities within 2-3 days.

Squint surgery is surgery of your extraocular muscles done through conjunctiva with local anaesthesia. This surgery is never an emergency surgery at this age unless you have double vision. Surgery is not complicated but sometimes after surgery you may develop DOUBLE VISION due to binocular vision means after surgery your both eyes can work simultaneously. I would suggest you to go for surgery after your exams. You will not be able to concentrate on your studies. Surgery cost depends on number of  muscles to be corrected. A week's time rest at home would be desirable after the surgery.
