Spotting between period & Liver damage

Hi, is spotting between periods connected to drug induced liver damage? ( I've recently been diagnosed with drug induced liver damage which is maybe due to oral contraceptive. It prescribed to me for pcos problem. )

Possibility of drug induced liver injury presenting as spotting between periods is there, but pretty low. It can be probably because of other common causes like PCOS, pregnancy, infection, thyroid issues etc. Kindly mention about other symptoms, also history is important to come to a diagnosis.
