Spotting before taking period pills

I have been on birth control for about a year. I take it everyday and have not missed a day. I had sex on Thursday without a condom and he pulled out. I started bleeding a little bit on Friday. Its more of a brownish blood. Its not a lot. i start taking my period pills on wednesday. I am worried because this is abnormal for me.
