Spike In Serum Creatinine Level

I'm diabetic since 6 years.HbA1c remains between 6% - 7%,hypertensive since 2 years with bp remaining around 130/80 or 140/80.Have grade 2 fatty liver disease. No problems or symptoms of kidney disease as such Serum creatinine used to remain 1.0 mg/dl.Tested after 13 months from the same lab & it came 1.2 mg/dl (ref range : 0.72 - 1.25).There has been a spike of 0.2 mg/dl.Reports of blood urea, potassium, urine culture, urine r/e,urine acr & usg (kub + pvru) are normal.Other test reports & parameters are also normal Re-tested from 2 different labs on the next day.On one it came 1.10 mg/dl (ref range : 0.6 - 1.30) & on another it came 1.18 mg/dl (ref range : upto 1.4). Is the spike of 0.2 mg/dl of serum creatinine after 13 months normal ? Am I having any kidney disease ?

No creatine keeps varying from lab to lab because of the kits they use , throughout the day there is 15-20% variability in serum creatinine so in your case if we take 1.1 as normal any where between 0.9 to 1.3 which is in normal limits, depends on hydration as well
Next Steps
to urine test to see for protein

Get a urine routine and urine microalbumin done...repeat the creatinine every month for next 3 months...if they r all below 1.2, ther is nothing to worry
