Sperm life and Coconut oil on penis

Dear experts- Can some plz advise whether applying a little amount of coconut oil on penis will harm or kill sperms if we are actively trying to conceive. Last month I had used KY gel but unfortunately couldn't conceive. Please note : She does gets cervical mucus. Oil is used by me on penis for some other reason.
