Please remember that it is all the experiences, environment, upbringing, exposures we have been through in life that shapes our personality traits in terms of how we think, feel, behave or cope in situations. As you yourself describe your own past experiences have clearly affected your perceptions and hence influence the way you interact with others. This may include certain dysfunctions like anxiety or fear or negative ruminations or avoidance or anticipatory anxiety for certain situations etc. See things in this context and objectively. Don't feel guilty or negative or blame yourself. Comparison with others doesn't make sense. Know and enjoy your strengths. Identify and work on your limitations without fighting with your emotions. To get over social anxiety, read and practice mindfulness and stop avoiding situations. Just be in action consistently irrespective of how you feel. For severe problems or impact, consult a psychiatrist in person. Regards
