Sore throat bad cough

For past three days I have been suffering from throat infection with intense cough that doesn't allow me to talk. It hurts very badly during cough. I have mild mucus. I am taking antibiotics for three days with very little relief.  I am a 40 year old male. Please advise.

You are likely to be suffering from severe throat infection.Need to show an ENT Specialist for changing to higher antibiotics and ruling out any other causes.
