Manage hemorrhoids with a home diet rich in fiber from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, and adequate hydration, and consult a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and treatment.

It sounds like you might have a perianal skin tag or possibly a hemorrhoid. Here are some key points to consider: Perianal Skin Tags: These are soft growths of excess skin around the anus. They are usually painless but can become uncomfortable, especially if irritated by cleaning or friction. They often occur after the healing of hemorrhoids or anal fissures1. Hemorrhoids: These are swollen veins around the anus or lower rectum. They can cause pain, itching, and sometimes bleeding, especially during bowel movements1. Given that your bump sometimes hurts during bowel movements and changes in size, it could be related to hemorrhoids. However, it’s important to get a proper diagnosis from a healthcare provider to rule out other conditions and get appropriate treatment. Would you like some tips on managing these symptoms or information on when to see a doctor?
