These are called as floaters, just as you have very nicely described. These things are presumed to be vascular remnants from our development stage. If you had an eye & retina evaluation, and nothing abnormal was found, you can ignore them and get along with your routine. Because of our brain adaptation system, they appear less prominent in due course. However, it is still essential to get a yearly eye evaluation by an ophthalmologist.
