The treatment of choice for somatisation disorder is a class of medication called Tricyclic Antidepressants. You will have to consult your psychiatrist for detailed assessment of your condition. Only once all other organic causes of your complaints are ruled out, will you be a clear case of somatisation disorder. Once that is established, you will receive a long term course of Tricyclics, with or without other medications in combination. Good luck.
