Slip disc surgery

Dear All, I have slip disc issue since 2022 I was fine from last year, but my pain start again in my leg,.. If I go for surgery level 4-5 how much safe and can I able to walk again properly.. This is impacting my professional life also... please suggest me,I am staying in Mumbai age 32 years

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes, metabolic disorder or epilepsy etc., if there is any.  - Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. - Keep no pillow under the head. - Avoid painful acts & activities. - Fomentation with warm water. -Let the part not be exposed cold. -Do mild exercises for the affected part.- back and lower limbs  -Any way it may be tried, --. Ugesic (Piroxicam) 20mg 1tab once  a day x 5days  --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1tab Once  a day x 10 days. No surgery is risk free. atleast very minimal risk you have to take like travelling in a flight.

Surgery is safe. Will start walking from next day. Isometric exersises for first few days then assisted hip/knee/ back exercises to regain full muscle strength. Lumbar support belt for 4-6 weeks.

check for vitamin deficiency
Health Tips
surgery required if not getting better or recurrence even after following conservative line of treatment or when conservative trial exhausted

You should try physiotherapy and medication prescribed by your orthopaedic surgeon first,if not getting improvement then u should think about surgery depending upon ur doctor's opinion
