Hello Friend, Good that you are seeking a help here. Disturbed sleep is due to preoccupied mind running with anxious thoughts. Your medication can help only in suppressing emotion, but it does control or manage your thoughts.
Better take a psychotherapy or mindset changes excersise and therapies to overcome anxious thoughts. This will automatically reduce unnecessary dreams and improve your sleep.
There are other techniques like foot massage before sleep, early dinner, have warm milk before bed, keep blue screen away before bed etc can help in short terms.
