Skin itchiness due to pregnancy

I am suffering from a heavy itchiness issue due to pregnancy stretch marks on my stomach and chest area.. I have started using caladryl lotion... For some time after applying I feel less itchy but after that the itchiness rises. I want to know, Do I have to consult a dermatologist or is it normal to face this issue?
