Sinus tachycardia

2025-09-10 20:55:18
Hello doc, 4 moth ago, i went to doc for chest pain and palpitation issue..I got xray and ecg done  ..xray report was normal and ecg was showing sinus tachycardia with hr 121 bpm. is this normal or anything serious? I'm also attaching the report..i also did thyroid profile test..my thyroid profile was normal..but blood test report shows very low vit d (4) and also low b12..so doc give me vit d tablets and some other calcium protein tablets and doesn't show any concern regarding my ecg report and said palpitation is mainly because of vit d deficiency and my anxiety( I have severe health anxiety)  after taking medicine, my palpitation and pain are gone..but i still have concern regarding my ecg report as I have severe health anxiety, I am scared of disease and after google I take a lot of stress even after doctor say it's all fine..so can you please tell me that my reports are normal?

This is sinus tachycardia Sometimes your heart rate and BP increases as you look into the monitor or the machine calculating the BP or pulse with an anxiety that you might suffer from a heart condition or some major disorder. You don’t need to worry about the same That’s usually due to SYMPATHETIC STIMULATION Your body prepares your mind and organs and muscles to take care of any stressor
Next Steps

Normal.... But it feels more like you have anxiety disorder or had episode of panic attack. Heart paroxysmal disorders at 21 years of age specially in female is very unlikely here. But since your condition has improved with normal ecg .. let's just wait and watch. If this episode of chest pain and palpitations has occured for more than one time then you definitely need to go for holter's ecg monitoring to r/o paroxysmal heart events/arrythmias which we cannot get by normal ecg. And also share your hb ... Chest pain and palpitations 1st most common cause is severe anemia.

Your sinus tachycardia is probably due to your anxiety. Googling your symptoms and your reports will not do you any good. Have faith in your doctor. For anxiety issues do consult a psychiatrist

Your ECG showed sinus tachycardia (HR 121 bpm)  this is just a faster-than-normal heart rate, not a heart disease by itself. Since thyroid, X-ray, and other tests were normal and symptoms improved after treating vitamin D/B12 deficiency and anxiety, it supports your doctor’s opinion that it was not a serious heart issue. You don’t need to worry—focus on vitamin correction, healthy routine, and anxiety management. If more questions are in your mind, you can contact me on WhatsApp at nine one one nine two five five six nine nine for free consultation.

First of all don’t google it is always scary. Tachycardia can be due to many reasons Vit D and b12 low can cause palpitations Now that you have started taking supplements it better u repeat ecg. The calcium you are taking make sure it has vit k2 in it that will help in absorption of calcium and plus bits which u are taking weekly should be taken with fatty food for better absorption. Do come back with ecg Don’t panic.
