Simple fever diet for diabetes

Hello all Senior Dietician, If the patient has diabetes, kidney disease, and he has been suffering from only mild fever nothing else no contraction with any covid patient & no symptoms. However the appetite seems to be very bad.. Lost the taste buds. What should be his diet in such case? Patient had gastric problems & irritable bowel syndrome from last 5 years. Kindly help us.
