Shoulder/ Muscle Pain near Neck

Upper part of Shoulder near neck is getting pain i.e. It is continuing since last 6 month. Also there is swelling always. There is nothing found in X-ray. Need expert Advice on this

Pain can come from neck to shoulder or shoulder itself. It need to be assessed. Mostly it is from neck- physio is the main treatment. Once pain is controlled do neck muscle strengthening exercises. Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury
