Should I see a doctor?

I have been diagnosed with ADHD with my previous doctor but unfortunately her only help was to make me pray, I know meditation and other Hindu practices are helpful but that was not the help i was looking for. Now it's almost a year later and I want to go for an online consultation to hopefully get medication, is it a good idea?

Yes, absolutely — it would be a great idea to get a proper evaluation done first. Based on that assessment, you can begin the appropriate medication if needed. I would also recommend seeing a CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) therapist, as it can be very effective in managing your symptoms and helping you cope better.
Next Steps
Consult a good Psychiatrist and a CBT therapist
Health Tips
Try to do few grounding exercise, read whatever you like and spend some time in nature bare feet

Consult a practitioner online that is familiar with ADHD and isn't shy of pharmacotherapy amongst other inerventions for it. Kindly prepare your previous medical documents prior to your consult as your psychiatrist may want to look at a prior opinion / clinical notes. Kindly also note they may want to ask questions related to your development and earlier childhood behaviors to your parents and it is advisable to take a guardian with you for the consult for a more detailed evaluation.

avoid self medicating
