Shortness of breath after abortion
Hello all,
I had a medical Abortion at 24weeks which is before 5 days and I have shortness of breath mainly while sleeping due to which I could not sleep well and there is burning sensation in eyes also. Passing few small clots in bleeding. Could you please suggest what might be the issue.

24 weeks is a big pregnancy. You must have lost lot of blood during MTP. Blood loss itself may be a reason for breathlessness. Even now you are passing clots.

Please get a USG done. If Uterus is empty please consult a General Physician on Practo.

For shotness of breath need to get a Physician opinion.Passing clots after a miscarriage or a medical abortion could be due bits of placenta..which may be retained.
Need to meet your gynaecologis for further evaluation and a possible ultrasound.
