Severe pain and swelling in jaws.

On behalf of my father age 58. He has pain and swelling in back jaws of teeth. Due to which neck and shoulder is also in pain. He is a debetic patient. Please suggest what he can do.

hello, you need to visit a dentist and get it checked. get an x-ray done if required. if it is due to wisdom tooth, the best treatment is to get it extracted. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, you need to get it treated. then get a crown placed.

First of visit a dentist to diagnose the problem . It can be due to wisdom tooth aur a deep cavity. Do not delay as he is diabetic and  elderly which will aggravate the problem.
