I had mild low back pain 3 months back. And increased a lot. Got MRI. Results as follows: There are 5 unfused lumbar vertebrae.Conus medularis is at L1. Vertebral heights, marrow signal, cortical outlines, and bone alignment are maintained. Multilevel disc dessication. L5-S1 mild loss of disc signal and height is noted with central annular fissure. Diffuse bulge with a broad based small central herniation indents the sac and the right S1 nerve root. L4-5 Mild diffuse bulge indents calsac.
