I was on my periods and on the third day it started itching down there, but it wasn't severe however it escalated and I felt severe itching and discomfort on 5th day ! I consulted a doctor she gave me some probiotics and itching medicine which I m taking for 3 days but there's no improvement in my condition whatsoever.

I would suggest you to get examined by a gynaecologist to check the type of discharge if any , take a swab from vagina to check if there is infection and then start the treatment
