Severe burning along the sternum
I have severe burning sensation along the right side of sternum and also along the right side of my spine. This has been happening for last 2.5 years( post covid).
Physiotherapy did not help. Orthopedic surgeons could not find a solution So I consulted a pulmonologist a few days ago and got HRCT thorax done which found a variant of sternalis muscle on right side. No painkillers work. Have consulted spine specialist too but nothing has worked out. It is leading to disability now.
Is there any need of surgery in this case ?
