Sensitive gums and hard palate
Hi doc,
I woke up with a sudden pain on my upper right tooth and it was sensitive to water and air . Went to the dentist and he found no problem with that tooth and did a filling for threee other cavities on ly lower teeth , one on the right and two left. He also did scaling 3 days later i had a jaw pain till my ear.
Went to a different dentist , he said i had a gum infection on my upper tooth , he cleaned it but the sensitivity on my hard palate and gum has not gone yet. Jaw , chin pain
Hi .sometimes it is a symptom of sinusitis.
There will not be any problem with tooth but u will have pain in upper teeth and sometimes sensitivity.it may radiate to whole jaw and ear.
Another reason can be wisdom tooth in upper region.
Next Steps
both of the things can be checked with x rays . there are specific x ray for sinusitis which rule it out .
visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for your problem.

if it is acute sinusitis .normal antibiotics and steam inhalation will help
