Second c section
Hi, iam 36w 2d pregnant (LMP -02/09/19), based on LMP, doc said edd was 09/06/2020. But she said to come for delivery 10 days before the edd, I don't have any complications and all my reports are normal. My first delivery was in may 2016 ,it was emergency c section so now also they are suggesting for c section due to risk of uterus stitch opening if tried for vbac. Kindly clarify why a planned c section to be done 10 days before?

Difficult to opine without seeing clinically.there are many factors to decide the mode of delivery.what was the reason for c section last time? You can wait for natural onset of labour if non recurring indication of c section but you can’t be induced with previous lscs.so my advice will be to trust your gynecologist who has seen you from the beginning
