Seborrheic dermatitis can have recurrences. There is no such single shampoo that can be used in seborrheic dermatitis for life time. One of the reason for seborrheic dermatitis is seborrhea( increased sebum secretion in scalp and other areas).
Regular washing of your scalp like on alternate days. and avoiding frequent oiling your hair will help.
if your symptoms have resolved .. you can use Antifungal shampoos like sertaconazole based shampoos for maintenance.
