I dont think we psychiatrists are informed/competent to talk about Ayurvedic medicines - hope someone knowledgeable in that field will help you out. Having said that, there are many medications in allopathy to handle schizophrenia, should be given in adequate doses and taken regularly. Plz follow-up with your psychiatrist on a regular basis so that such severe episodes can be prevented in future and she is maintained on a medication that suits her well.
