My mother is suffering from schizophrenia.doctor diagnosed it 15 years back.we gave her medication for the same without telling her.she used to feel very dull after the medication so we stopped.after sometime she got to know that we use to give her medicines for some mental illness without telling her.now she does not trust anyone.we want to start the medication again,

Well she needs medications for sure...please take her to a psychiatrist..I agree that tablets will make her drowsy but you need to follow up with the doctor for that and not stop tablets....she needs medical attention... We need to see positive and negative symptoms... Hope her condition is under control... Thank you
