Scalp Patch and Hair Thinning

2025-07-11 23:05:51
I have noticed a patch on my scalp where the hair seems thinner, and the skin underneath is slightly visible. There's also mild redness, and I’m not experiencing any pain or severe itching, but I am concerned about possible hair loss or infection.

It could be a normal anatomical variation of hair density or autoimmune condition like alopecia areata. Infections of scalp and hair are generally itchy so they are less likely. If you still want to clear some other doubts then I suggest online consult.
