Scaling is advised every 6 months to one year. If you don't have any debri , plaque, odour or bad breath issues or bleeding gums then get it done more frequently. If you don't have any of the above issues you can get scaling one time a year. But don't worry it won't damage your enamel or gums.

Scaling of teeth doesn't damage your enamel. It removes the superficial dirts and stains from your teeth. It's advisable to get a scaling done every 6 months.
