I have seen a round boil kind of a structure in my lower lip soft tissue. I have seen it from past 1-2 days. Not sure if it was there previously. It's painless . Wondering what that is 🤔

It`s a Mucocele. An oral mucocele is a harmless mucus-filled cyst on the inside of your mouth. The cysts are usually painless and look like smooth, round lesions. Trauma such as biting your lip cause most oral mucoceles. You typically don't need treatment because the cyst should go away by itself. But if it bothers you much, then there are various treatment options: -Surgical excision. -Laser treatment. -Cryotherapy.
Next Steps
Visit a local dentist and get it clinically evaluated.

It’s a mucocele that appears after trauma to lip. This will be surgically excised.

Hi, This looks like a Mucocele. It is caused due to a continuous traumatic biting of the lip. Visit a dentist and they will remove it under local anesthesia. There is nothing to worry.
