Rosuvas 5 mg is a plain film-coated tablet, so splitting it is physically possible, but I would not advise it - a broken half gives you an unreliable dose and the benefit of statins depends on steady daily levels. Also remember your lipids are normal because of the tablet, not instead of it; halving or stopping usually brings
LDL back up within weeks. If your only reason is that the dose feels too strong, we reduce it properly with a 2.5 mg preparation, not by cutting.
