Injections during RCT and subsequent capping are almost always given for applying Local Anaesthesia (LA) and are therefore given in measured doses on an as needed basis. Different teeth are differently shaped and differently placed in the mouth with different amount of nerve tissue (& other organic tissue) within them. This means a different pain profile of the treatment depending overall upon the tooth's location, it's shape & it's health. TL;DR: So yes, it is entirely possible to need different number of injections for different RCT's.

Clarify all your doubts with the Dr, but please do follow her advice for pre and post treatment care.
Health Tips
// Modern RCT's, usually when performed by an RCT specialist (aka Endodontist), can to a large extent be performed with a lot less pain than most myths about RCT would have you believe. LA injections and lately Lasers are commonly used for low pain or even pain free RCT's. // Don't forget that except in very rare cases, capping is almost always a necessity after RCT to preserve the health of the remaining natural tooth.

Hello, You would require one shot of local anaesthetic for your RCT and one for tooth preparation which is required for the placement of your crown . Additional shots would be needed only if the anaesthetic is not effective. As your RCT and crown preparation would be on different appointments, you won’t be getting all the injections on one day.
