I hav done my root canal treatment successfully.... but i did not take a crown and it's just filled.... because the doctor said there is no support for the crown to hold on.. because the tooth is half broken on the side. so doc said I hav to do a back root canal on the same teeth to get a support ... I'm not sure what it is.?? can anyone explain about it.
I assume the doctor is talking about a post and core
It is like taking support from one of the canals of your tooth and building up the tooth structure.
Over that we give a crown
