If the cavity is small and not affecting nerve of your tooth then the tooth can be saved by filling . But if nerve is involved root canal is required .
Next Steps
visit a dentist at earliest so that your tooth can be saved .
The depth and extent of cavity is the main indicator to whether you need a root canal in the first place. And if it is deep enough it sure will need a root canal treatment. The only alternative is extraction, though cheap... Unadvised!
This is my upper molar impacted wisdom tooth and there is cavity...any filling is possible in that case??
