Root Canal and Crown
One of my front tooth in the upper row had crown for last 14 years which recent broke. Need a new permanent Crown or a Permanent Implant whichever iss advised by the doctor. The doctor here suggested to go for another crown. Additionally, the tooth adjacent to one that had crown might need root canal and crowning too, as my dentist here suggested.
I am in Chicago and Dental costs are pretty stiff here. I am planning to visit India for the treatment, the only issue is that I am not sure how long does this procedure take in general. (Probable Nee crown on one tooth. Root canal ans crown on the adjacent tooth). Based on that I would need to apply for leave at office here.
Your quick response would be highly appreciated.

hello,
visit a dentist and get it checked. if there is infection to the root of the tooth, then get it treated. then get a crown placed over it. if the tooth cannot be saved then you need to get it removed. depending on the bone level, you can go for implant or fixed prosthesis.

Broken teeth cap can be remade as root canal treatment and surrounding bone of that teeth is perfect.Now regarding adjacent teeth is there any pain ? Or swelling or sensitivity ? From x-ray tooth appears fine..Just check what's the problem..Now a days if infection is not there we can do Singel sitting rct if required....But i can see subgingival calculus deposits...Just go ahead with teeth cleaning also.

Hello sir. Greetings of the day. By the look of your x-ray, the previously done root canal treatment does not seem to have an infection, hence a new crown should suffice. A new rct can either be done in 1- 2 sittings depending upon the infection present and a new crown 4-5 days (including the lab work).
