Resdone LS and ocd

I am diagnosed with severe ocd and take Prodep 60 once a day, and Resdone LS 1 tab at night.( I also have pcod,fatty liver and my maternal grandmother has diabetes and my father has high bp.) Right now i do not have any physical side effects except that i am thirsty more than normal. I am particularly worried about risk of diabetes and heart disease with Resdone.Is there any alternative to Resdone LS which works the same with no long term complications? I took Aripiprazole 5mg before but due to restlessness and agitation, was switched to Resdone.

Hi I can understand your worry . But resdone is relatively safe than other antipsychotics.. in our clinical practice. Timely monitoring will prevent you from having diabetes . Daily exercise and diet modification will have good outcome. As of now see tat your symptoms reduces And later you can optimise the medications and go on monotherapy with prodep.

Risdone LS is added to the fluoxetine as an augmentation strategy for further improvement of symptoms Fluoxetine can be reached up to 80mg if required(after your psychiatrist's evaluation) Risdone LS can be stopped/continued/reduced depending upon % of improvement as per  psychiatrist evaluation

Feel fresh and confident Change your wardrobe to a more confident, yet comfortable clothing style Meditate for a while. It helps a lot. It helps you to calm down. Pray - That’s something you can do your own way. But it’s always okay to ask universe to send some help. Train your brain to do better than this. Take absolute control over your brain again - remember, nobody can get away by tricking you; not even your own brain. Take control of the thoughts. You are not crazy. It’s all right. U can stop antipsychotic. As u having ocd why not u taking only fluoxetine 60
