Last year my father had meet with a lethal accident in which his leg was broken. His femur was broken into two half.he was operated and 2 rods have been fitted in his leg.he was kept under supervision of docters for 1 months. i would like to know how long it will take to get rid of the rods.

Implant removal depends on the fracture union status. Safe period is one year. In case of infections implants may be removed early.
